Darul Shafqat Society manages its financial resources with a focus on the welfare, education and overall development of the children.

Finance & Financial Management

All financial matters of the Society are managed by the Executive Committee with the primary objective of supporting the welfare, education, and overall development of the children. A budget is prepared and approved in advance each year, providing a framework for planned financial management. All expenditure is subject to appropriate checks and balances and verification through different levels of review, helping ensure that funds are utilized responsibly and in accordance with approved purposes.

Sources of Funds / Income

The Society receives donations in the form of Sadaqah and Zakat, both in cash and in kind. These contributions provide important support for the welfare, education, and day-to-day needs of the children. In addition, Darul Shafqat Society organizes a market every year during the Bhopal Ijtima. The income generated through this market is utilized for the welfare and well-being of the children.

Expenditure & Utilization

The Society utilizes its funds primarily for the welfare, care, education, and overall development of the children, both boys and girls. Expenditure includes employee salaries, food, clothing, medical care, education, and other essential needs required for the day-to-day well-being and development of the children.

Financial Transparency

The Society maintains utmost financial transparency and accountability in the management and utilization of its funds. The accounts of the Society are audited by a Chartered Accountant. The Society also submits its expenditure and financial reports to the Registrar, Firms and Societies; the Income Tax Department; and the Madhya Pradesh Waqf Board, as required.
